Description of Work:
The objective of this requirement is to augment knowledge within the Department of Justice Canada’s (JUS) Cloud team to gather expertise and meet project requirements and specific AI initiatives. The required professional services will support the delivery of key infrastructure components, networking fixes and improvements as well as high visibility projects such as Otto , Artificial Intelligence and the Lakehouse.
The Cloud Engineer will implement, configure, automate, and support cloud infrastructure, platform services, and cloud-native solutions in accordance with Government of Canada Cloud Guardrails, departmental standards, enterprise architecture principles, and security controls. The Cloud Engineer will support the deployment, integration, modernization, and operational management of Microsoft Azure services, enterprise applications, AI-enabled solutions, and hybrid cloud environments.
The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Centre of Expertise (CCoE), Shared Services Canada (SSC), Security Operations, infrastructure teams, application teams, and project stakeholders to deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, automate, and document cloud services, platform components, application hosting environments, identity services, storage, networking, and operational processes while supporting continuous improvement, operational excellence, and knowledge transfer.
