• Stop work and notify the Departmental Representative upon discovery of archaeological material, concealed historic fabric, evidence of human remains, or suspect asbestos, lead, mould or other unexpected hazardous material.
• Contractor must pay for redesign, permits, coordination and changes to adjacent work resulting from an accepted substitution unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Contractor must correct non-compliant work without additional cost or extension of time.
